Dark Places

So, I am totally obsessed with [b:Gone Girl|21480930|Gone Girl|Gillian Flynn|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1406511734s/21480930.jpg|13306276]. It's obvious, and whenever people ask me what to read next I usually ask, "Have you read [b:Gone Girl|21480930|Gone Girl|Gillian Flynn|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1406511734s/21480930.jpg|13306276] yet?" So any time someone talks to me about it, I immediately remembered that I needed to finish Dark Places.
This book was good, and has everything I love in fiction books, twists and turns, cults (I have a whole shelf on Goodreads for cults) and a good old whodunit like I'm watching "The First 48" or "Law and Order SVU"
It wasn't Gone Girl, but I'm not sure if anything CAN be [b:Gone Girl|21480930|Gone Girl|Gillian Flynn|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1406511734s/21480930.jpg|13306276], but Gillian Flynn is a master, that's for sure. Especially because you can see how much her writing and mastery has grown throughout her books. She seems to have perfected the art of unexpected plot twists, and I absolutely loved how your perspective of characters completely changed throughout the book. She's a wonderful wonderful author, and I would recommend her writing to pretty much anyone. She has a way of making really really uncomfortable topics, somewhat bearable, and even if they make you feel super uncomfortable you read them anyway.
Seriously I'm in awe.
